Put Mount Everest back on your bucket list and let Signature Travel handle the rest

After nearly 18 long months Travati can’t wait to announce that Nepal, home to the highest mountain in the world; Mount Everest – a destination on any true adventure traveler’s bucket list – has finally reopened to fully vaccinated travelers, without quarantine on arrival. How cool is that?

If arrivals are fully vaccinated upon arrival in Nepal (they received their final dose 14 days prior), they are eligible for a visa on arrival, a process that was paused in March 2020.

However, unvaccinated travellers will need to obtain visas from Nepalese embassies in their home countries before departure. They will also need to wait out a 10-day quarantine in a government-approved hotel in Kathmandu and conduct a PCR test on day 10.

When Mount Everest finally reopened to travellers in April, hundreds flocked to climb the summit, leading to an overcrowding issue that has since been addressed.
